The Bell Tower in the Community
Light Up for a Cause
The Bell Tower Illuminates More Than the Night Sky
As part of our dedication to our local community, The Bell Tower is proud to be able to partner with local community groups, charities, and not-for-profit organisations. Our Community Tower Project focuses on supporting these groups with fundraising donations, “lighting up” for significant events and awareness campaigns, and promoting their causes to our ever-growing social media following.

April 11, 2026(1 event) April 11, 2026 ![]() On Saturday, April 11th, 2026, Parkinson’s Western Australia will be joining states across Australia in illuminating iconic buildings and landmarks in purple in honour of World Parkinson’s Day. This initiative has been supported by all states in Australia for over 10 years and we aim to continue supporting this initiative to raise awareness for Parkinson’s disease and show solidarity with the estimated 15,000-25,000 Western Australians living with the condition, as well as their families and caregivers. Purple is the nationally recognised colour for Parkinson’s disease, symbolising hope, and support. By lighting up your landmarks in purple, you’ll help bring attention to the daily challenges faced by those affected and contribute to a national effort to raise awareness about this condition. | April 12, 2026 |

April 16, 2026(1 event) April 16, 2026 ![]() This World Voice Day, we are lighting up The Bell Tower to show support for those who have lost their voice or live with dysphonia. Why focus on ‘voice’? Because unlike vision or hearing, our voice is very often taken for granted, we open our mouths to speak and our words come out. Most people will relate to the frustration of having lost their voice at some time, (usually after a big night out or cheering at a football game), but for those with dysphonia, that frustration is a permanent way of life. Help the Australian Dysphonia Network to spread the word. |
