The Bell Tower Illuminates More Than the Night Sky

As part of our dedication to our local community, The Bell Tower is proud to be able to partner with local community groups, charities, and not-for-profit organisations. Our Community Tower Project focuses on supporting these groups with fundraising donations, “lighting up” for significant events and awareness campaigns, and promoting their causes to our ever-growing social media following.

Global ITP Awareness Week - LightUp4ITP

2026 will be the 11th year that Global ITP Awareness Week has been launched internationally. ITP Australia and New Zealand and the global ITP community will celebrate from Monday, September 21st, to Sunday, September 27th, 2026.

Global ITP Awareness Week is dedicated to raising public awareness about the rare autoimmune blood disorder, Immune Thrombocytopenia (ITP), and highlighting the ITP patient experience. ITP is a rare autoimmune disorder in which the body’s immune system attacks healthy platelets and/or suppresses platelet production, resulting in low platelet counts. Platelets help the blood clot, and individuals with ITP typically have a low platelet count. It affects children and adults. There is no cure. For most people, there is no known cause. ITP Australia and New Zealand's mission is to provide up-to-date information, education, support and advocacy for ITP patients and the ITP community. https://itpaustralia.org.au/
