The Bell Tower Illuminates More Than the Night Sky

As part of our dedication to our local community, The Bell Tower is proud to be able to partner with local community groups, charities, and not-for-profit organisations. Our Community Tower Project focuses on supporting these groups with fundraising donations, “lighting up” for significant events and awareness campaigns, and promoting their causes to our ever-growing social media following.

Apraxia Awareness
Apraxia of Speech is a rare neurological disorder that makes it difficult for Children & Adults to plan and coordinate the muscle movements needed for speech. It’s not about intelligence or willingness to speak—it’s about the brain struggling to send the right signals to the mouth. On 14th May, communities around the world unite to shine a light on apraxia, celebrate the strength of those living with it, and call for greater understanding, support, and research. This day matters because awareness leads to earlier diagnosis, better resources, and a stronger voice for children & Adults who work tirelessly to be heard.

National Corrections Day 2026

Today we celebrate National Corrections Day, honouring the dedicated men and women working across WA’s corrections system. Their work in protecting our communities and rehabilitating offenders often takes place in challenging environments. To mark the occasion, many Perth and regional WA landmarks are lighting up in green and blue. 💚💙

Neurofibromatosis NF Awareness Day

May is Neurofibromatosis Awareness Month.

We are helping to shine a light on NF by lighting up The Bell Tower blue and green in support of the 13,000 Australians living with this complex condition.

NF impacts multiple body systems and is managed by multiple specialists, however up to 90% of kids and adults with NF cannot access coordinated, specialist care.

We are proud to support the Children’s Tumour Foundation (@ctfaustralia) in advocating for better care for NF.
