Community Tower – August & September

Our community program will again be supporting some important events through August and September; World PVNH Disorder Awareness Day, Daffodil Day, Asthma Week, and Paint the Town Red.
7 August is World PVNH Awareness Day. PVNH stands for Periventricular Nodular Heterotopia, a rare neurological disorder affecting children and adults alike. Supporting their campaign for improved treatment, the Tower will simultaneously shine out PINK and YELLOW.
Daffodil Day raises much-needed funds for Cancer Council WA’s life-saving cancer research, education programs, and support services for the thousands of WA families affected by cancer each year. 22 & 23 August the Tower will again shine out YELLOW to motivate people to think about donating and help save a life. 1 September is the start of Asthma Week and that night the Tower will light up BLUEA few days later the Tower is joining the party to PAINT THE TOWN RED. ‘The Red Party’, is the largest student-run charity in WA raising awareness for HIV/AIDS.
