Our community program will again be supporting some important events through August and September; World PVNH Disorder Awareness Day, Daffodil Day, Asthma Week, and Paint the Town Red. 7 August is World PVNH Awareness Day. PVNH stands for Periventricular Nodular Heterotopia, a rare neurological disorder affecting children and adults alike. Supporting their campaign for improved treatment, the Tower will simultaneously shine out PINK and YELLOW. Daffodil Day raises much-needed funds for Cancer Council WA’s life-saving cancer research, education programs, and support services for the thousands of WA families affected by cancer each year. 22 & 23 August the Tower will again shine out YELLOW to motivate people to think about donating and help save a life. 1 September is the start of Asthma Week and that night the Tower will light up BLUE. A few days later the Tower is joining the party to ‘PAINT THE TOWN RED’. ‘The Red Party’, is the largest student-run charity in WA raising awareness for HIV/AIDS.
