ANZAC DAY at the Bell Tower

ANZAC Day

In respect and acknowledgement of this important national event, the Bell Tower will be closed until midday on ANZAC Day. From midday we welcome our diggers, service men and women all, to visit the Tower free of charge on ANZAC Day 2019.

Following the annual dawn service at the State War Memorial in Kings Park, the ANZAC Day activities move towards the city and the Gunfire Breakfast in Stirling Gardens. The Perth March will step off from the corner of Barrack Street & St Georges Terrace at 9.00am and finish in Langley Park (not far from the Tower). The Commemorative Service commences at 11.00am.

There will be a Quarter Peel rung at the Bell Tower from 12pm and the ANZAC Bell will ring at 1pm for its first ever ANZAC Day.

On the day, the Bell Tower will be fundraising on behalf of RSLWA. Each and every donation received is placed in the state welfare fund, allowing the RSLWA to assist veterans and their families in need.
